The Kennel Club Judges Education Programme is run by the Breed Education Co-ordinator (BEC) and currently the Club is required to start sorting judges into Level as per the Kennel Club instructions.
The levels are listed on the KC website and all new judges, and novice judges will be put into a Level for their competence. Movement up the levels to eventually reach Level 4 which is awarding CC's is up to the judge, and should be completed with the aid of the BEC.
Judges working on the old system may still do so - and therefore they can follow the A3 way if they have the required number of dogs judged, or are close to it.
Over the next few weeks the club will be working toward new judging lists with Levels in accordance with the JEP. The old list will remain in place until this is completed.
Please, if you are on either the list for this club, or CCDC, can you inform the BEC of your status regarding KC exams, seminar attendance, and stewarding appointments. The two clubs are hoping to run a joint BAD (Breed Appreciation Day) and MCE (Multiple Choice Exam) to progress candidates to Level 2. Plus an A3 examination for those still working on the old system. This will be arranged and announced as soon as possible.
The current Acting BEC is myself, as there is no one else filling the role at present. Please contact me via email@example.com
