1. Marshall’s POLLYPECK ROOBY STAR

I would like to thank the C.C.C. of GB and its members for inviting me to judge their open show at Harewood House which is a lovely showground and on the day provided extremely challenging conditions due to the intense heat I which appreciate are difficult for dogs to achieve their true potential under.  Thank you also to the ladies who stewarded for me and calmed my nerves on this special occasion.

MPD 1.  Higgs’ Touch Beauty Fire Power, first show for this 8 month hl boy who gave nothing away, lovely expression, dark eye, nicely chiselled head, good ear placement, graceful neck.  Well set shoulders and rear angulation allowing for a level topline which was retained both standing and on the move.  Stepping out with style for his first show B.P.D.   2. Smith’s Sharanae Liquid Gold, new to showing this cream and white pp with a very masculine head, good neck, lovely top line and rear angles, was just a little overcome by the occasion or possibly the heat which resulted in him being lethargic on the move.  Presented in good coat condition.

PD  1. Higgs’ Touch Beauty Fire Power.

JD.  1. Hinton’s Ajatiaza’s Lover Boy At Cheeswood.  17th mahogany spotted boy who stood alone in this class.  Nice profile both standing and on the move.  Good head, cleanly chiselled cheeks, dark eye and graceful neck.  Good angulation both front and rear, level top line and moved out using the whole of the ring with style RBD

GD  1. Hinton’s Ajatiaza’s Lover Boy At Cheeswood.  2.  Crow’s Estillinis Silver Surfer At Casacavallo (Imp Swe).  Slightly larger in profile to 1st place, strong masculine dog, good head and eye, good neck.  Well placed shoulders and front. Level topline and rear angles, moved out with plenty of drive even in such extreme conditions.

PGD  1.  Barker’s Goldamulet Amber Tune.  Nice size cream pp in excellent condition, lovely gentle expression, nicely chiselled cheeks, dark eye, graceful neck into good shoulders and front.  Level top line and good tail set, good rear angulation.  Moving out with elegance.  2.  Cooper’s Renedreams Credence. Grey and white pp slightly taller than 1st placed dog but also a quality boy.  Pleasing on the eye both standing and when stepping out.  Masculine head with nice dark eye, graceful neck, good shoulders and front, well kept top line, strong rear angulation which allowed him to move with drive and style using the whole ring.

LD  1.  Frame’s Elfallons Little Dragon.  Nice size dog full of type and quality.  Good head and expression, shoulders well laid back.  Level topline.  Showed plenty of drive on the move from good rear angulation, very pleasing on the eye when on the move.

2.  Barker’s Cheeswood Shimmering Moon.  Well presented white pp with masculine head, dark eyes, good ear placement.  Graceful neck leading to level topline, good front and shoulders and strong rear angulation used the whole ring on the move.  Close call between these two dogs.

OD  1. Dixon’s Ch Debrita Don’t Stop Me Now, which is a fitting name for this quality dog, masculine throughout dark eye, well chiselled cheeks, good ear placement, lovely graceful neck, strong shoulders and front.  Good top line, strong rear angles. Lovely subtle skin, full of confidence in the ring both standing and on the move, who refused to give any ground to his competition in the challenge BD.  2. Merryweather & Fletchers Ch Myrtans Top Notch (Imp)  Slightly smaller, but a little longer than first place, good head and neck, topline and rear angles. Moved with drive.

MPB  1. Routledge’s Tasnim De Sothis Para Pufflepaws (Imp Esp)  6 month mahogany girl, feminine head, and good neck leading into good set shoulders.  Nice skin in super condition, good top line and real angulation.  Moved well with very warm conditions for one so young.  BPB and BPIS.  2. McFarlane’s Shranae Careless Whisper  6 months on the day of the show, which showed as she found the condition a little stressful and found it difficult to settle.  White crest and heavier throughout than 1st place, good top line, and moved ok when she settled down.

PB  1. Routledge’s Tasnim De Sothis Para Pufflepaws (Imp Esp)

JB   1. Dixon’s Glorious Yasmine Heybet Avec Debrita (Imp Svk)  Pleasing profile when standing and maintained this as she moved around the ring.  Good topline, feminine head with dark eye, and soft expression.  Good skin and rear angles moved with style.  2.  Marshall’s Bryelis Oopsa Daisy

GB  1. Marshall’s Bryelis Oopsa Daisy  2.  Routledge’s Pufflepaws Mz Rumpleteazer  3.  McFarlane’s Shranae Careless Whisper

PGB  1. Panaylotis Ynchreenoo Lus Ny Paish  Almost 2 years old, promising bitch, feminine head and expression, dark eye, good neck leading into nice front angulation.  Good level topline and rear angulation which allowed her to drive out in style on the move.  RBB  2. Frame’s Efallons Crazy Moon ShCM.  Slightly heavier throughout than 1st place, but still feminine in head and expression, moved well maintaining top line.

LB  1.  Proctor & McGowan’s Tramarllan Polar Icicle.  Very feminine white pp who takes the eye because of her attitude and confidence.  Graceful head with dark eye, good ears and with that naughty expression which I love to see.  Good front and shoulders, level top line and gleaming white coat.  Good rear angulation which allowed her to move so freely.  2.  Bowes  Pinkwillow So What.  Another quality cream pp who pushed 1st place hard, but just let herself down when standing and dropping her top line.  Feminine throughout with a beautiful expression, soft dark eyes which plead to notice her.  Quality body, front angles, top line and rear angulation which allowed her to move graciously around the ring could so easily have reversed the positions had she stood correctly.

VB  1.  Marshalls’ Pollypeck Rooby Star.  This quality pp young lady took my eye even at 8 years old when moving around the ring with such style and grace even in such extreme conditions she showed the young pretenders how to command both the ring and the attention.  In beautiful condition of coat, most feminine of head, with such a lovely expression which just  draws you into her confidence.  Lovely front and rear angles which allow her to hold her topline both standing and on the move with such feminine elegance.  Beautiful when coming towards you and side profile such effortless drive and confidence, refused to give in to be awarded both BB and Best In Show.   Credit to the breed I loved her!!
